Unlike slick 50 or other PTFE (Teflon treatments) this product is made with molybdenum and other metallic lubricating compounds like silver, manganese, and 11 other elements. IT actually fills micro scratches in metal surfaces providing a semi permanent wear barrier, good for up to 40,000 miles on 2litre LPG engine, 38,500 on 2litre Petrol engine 35,000 on a 2Litre Diesel engine.
PTFE treatments are only really effective for around 2500 to 3500 miles, and only coat the surface and will NOT restore worn parts, and since it is Teflon it only coats. It WON'T actually bond with the metal, and will not last 50-80,000 miles NOTHING WILL! Not in an engine, not with the constant introduction of dirt, carbon and moisture.
Think of this way Teflon is a plastic (very durable plastic) but just a plastic. If you have Teflon cooking pans at home one scratch with a fork and eventually they peel off the protective coating. Your engine is all metal constantly rubbing together, that is why you need the oil. This is metal and bonds into the worn areas where dirt and carbon have made scratches, fills those voids and coats the other wear suffices to protect at start up.
It is widely used in Canada by pilots of small aircraft to lengthen ring life, also used in racing planes due to the high revving hot burning high octane aviation fuels. Very popular with race boat enthusiasts in America, but a best kept secret in the UK only used in the racing circuit. Unlike regular oils or PTFE it will not break down under heat or high stress conditions.
This formula is not available for retail sale anywhere else in the EU.
The application is 10ml per 100cc of engine size. It works best in diesel engines, but it doesn't last quite as long. It lasts longest in an LPG/CNG engine but the improvements are not as profound. It says on the bottle will treat a 1.8 litre engine (this is being updated and changed for the export version I stock) now while this is true a single bottle will work just as well on an engine up to 2.5 litre but since the protective layer is thinner it won't last as long.
Example In a 1.8 litre diesel a single 250ml bottle will last for 40-43,000 miles in a 2 litre diesel this will be reduced by about 2.5% per 100cc worth of engine size over the 1.8 litre recommendation. so conservatively speaking it will last about 38,500 miles in a 2.3 about 36-38,000 miles about a 2.6 or if it is Turbo I would recommend adding 15ml for the Turbo and 15-20ml per 100cc of engine over 2.5 litre. It's not that you can use to much but using more then you need is a bit of a waste since you can only make the protective layer about 43,000 cleavage planes thick. After that the compounds lose the ability to maintain molecular cohesion. There is usually about 30ml worth of the Moly compounds left stuck to the inside of the bottle.
Compared to Slick 50 @ £26.00 per bottle or other brands of PTFE at around £20.00+ per bottle.

This product is intended for use on all manual transmissions.
It will halt wear to gears and their synchronisers and main bearings. It is used on the trans axel box on long haul lorries in Canada (Road Trains). Used in Racecar differentials at La Mans, F1, NASCAR, and top fuel NHRA dragsters. If it can take going 0 to 250 miles per hour in 4 seconds in a quarter mile I'm sure it can take anything you can throw at it.
The products protective qualities are conservatively rated to last approximately 400,000 miles (on average family car ). So for most people this will be a one off purchase, for the life of your car, or for as long as you own it.

You will be impressed but the nice thing is you won't be cooking that clutch anymore. I know I love a 4-5,000 rev then burn out to a wheely. I used to smoke my clutch. No more.

The application is 10ml per 100cc of engine size. It works best in diesel engines, but it doesn't last quite as long. It lasts longest in an LPG/CNG engine but the improvements are not as profound. It says on the bottle will treat a 1.8 litre engine (this is being updated and changed for the export version I stock) now while this is true a single bottle will work just as well on an engine up to 2.5 litre but since the protective layer is thinner it won't last as long.
Example In a 1.8 litre diesel a single 250ml bottle will last for 40-43,000 miles in a 2 litre diesel this will be reduced by about 2.5% per 100cc worth of engine size over the 1.8 litre recommendation. so conservatively speaking it will last about 38,500 miles in a 2.3 about 36-38,000 miles about a 2.6 or if it is Turbo I would recommend adding 15ml for the Turbo and 15-20ml per 100cc of engine over 2.5 litre. It's not that you can use to much but using more then you need is a bit of a waste since you can only make the protective layer about 43,000 cleavage planes thick. After that the compounds lose the ability to maintain molecular cohesion. There is usually about 30ml worth of the Moly compounds left stuck to the inside of the bottle.
Compared to Slick 50 @ £26.00 per bottle or other brands of PTFE at around £20.00+ per bottle.

I use it to protect bicycle chains but have found it works even better on motorcycle chains high temp properties and heavy loads. I use it to protect bushings on my suspension and tie rods, since is it pretty much impervious to water and salt. Other great uses since it almost dries like a spray paint, trailer ball hitches my garden gate, anything really that will be exposed to the elements. Loads of uses and can be far more convenient to use the tins and tubes. Same great working range of -40 to 1100 degrees C. Great for use on break callipers, exhaust and head bolts battery terminals. Now I don't recommend it but I know a Japanese rally team mix it with oil and use it in the engine. Personally I would stick to using it on bolts.
An anti-seize compound and a lubricant perform entirely different functions although many anti-seize products have lubricating properties, especially at higher temperatures. In environmentally adverse conditions such as high humidity and salinity, extreme pressure, acidic atmospheres or excessive temperatures, metals can fuse or weld together. The chief culprit is corrosion, particularly in marine surroundings. Molyslip anti-seize products are designed to provide an insulating layer between metals so that dismantling and routine maintenance are free from breakage of fused parts.
