I use it to protect bicycle chains but have found it works even better on motorcycle chains high temp properties and heavy loads. I use it to protect bushings on my suspension and tie rods, since is it pretty much impervious to water and salt. Other great uses since it almost dries like a spray paint, trailer ball hitches my garden gate, anything really that will be exposed to the elements. Loads of uses and can be far more convenient to use the tins and tubes. Same great working range of -40 to 1100 degrees C. Great for use on break callipers, exhaust and head bolts battery terminals. Now I don't recommend it but I know a Japanese rally team mix it with oil and use it in the engine. Personally I would stick to using it on bolts.

An anti-seize compound and a lubricant perform entirely different functions although many anti-seize products have lubricating properties, especially at higher temperatures. In environmentally adverse conditions such as high humidity and salinity, extreme pressure, acidic atmospheres or excessive temperatures, metals can fuse or weld together. The chief culprit is corrosion, particularly in marine surroundings. Molyslip anti-seize products are designed to provide an insulating layer between metals so that dismantling and routine maintenance are free from breakage of fused parts. This problem is especially onerous on threads and shackles. A single application of Copaslip (often misspelled as copperslip or coppaslip) or Alumslip will stop metal fusion for many years.

A dry film of pure Mos2 with a bonding resonate, which dries in a few minutes: Treated parts can then be handled with out fear of disturbing the lubricating layer. This makes ADF invaluable during pre-assembly. It provides lubrication in situation where an oil or grease are not acceptable (e.g. in dusty atmospheres or processes where oil or grease contamination are not permissible) ADF is used extensively in cement plants, quarries, mines, glass works, paper mills, steel works and wherever loads are heavy or temperatures are high.

Also a great preservative coating for exhaust piping and stored auto parts, works well as a terminal protector for sending units on O2 sensors.
